I started La Bistecca in 1998. The first year was a challenging time, as it is for most small businesses. I knew what was happening here was special, and I was taught that if you do the right thing it will come back ten fold. And it did! Within 3 years I had received a four star rating from three major publications, awarded the “Award of Excellence” from The Wine Spectator Magazine, and in 2005 was accepted as a member of the Distinguished Restaurants of North America, also known as DiRONA. My restaurant was generating new business by word of mouth at 99%. I had a website that look good and I focused of attending to every single guest. Well, today is a different environment. I thought your service would generate new business, but never at this ratio. I track all new customers and speak with them to find out how they have come to find La Bistecca. I would estimate that a third is now coming for online searches and research. I see this percentage increasing quarter by quarter. Word of mouth will always be there, but now I have more mouths to spread the message of La Bistecca’s mission.
